Notes from April 18 Governance + new recorded demo

Hello all,

Please see the notes from the April 18 Governance Committee call
here
.

Key takeaways:

  • ThoughtWorks will be withdrawing from the OLMIS Community, and Karl Brown will no longer participate in the Governance committee. They will fulfill any existing obligations, and may identify an additional TW office to take on any potential future work, but this hasn’t been confirmed
  • The vaccine module stakeholder workshop will take place May 2-4 in Copenhagen
  • Lindabeth Doby – USAID, was elected Chair for the next three months
  • Carl Leitner – PATH, gave a presentation on the Digital Health Initiative. They have asked that the OLMIS community provide documentation on budgets, roles, and responsibilities for the sustainability of the initiative. Tenly and Mary Jo will work with Lauren Wall from PATH to set up a working group to put together this information
Additionally, a recorded demo of OpenLMIS version 3 – Requisitions, is now available on the OLMIS YouTube Channel here!

Further videos will be recorded to demo the functionality in major releases (stock management, vaccines). Please let me know if you would like to see or have heard requests for additional videos on other aspects of OLMIS functionality (ie. Configuring the R&R form, etc.)

Please feel free to share this demo widely, and please continue to point interested leads to openlmis.org, to write to
info@openlmis.org, or to me directly.

Warm regards,

···
